The Remembrance Service at Five Wents Hall took place at 10.50 am on the morning of the above day with doors open early before 10.30 am. It was led by our vicar Johnny Douglas supported by the Royal British Legion and the Parish Council. A large number of Air Cadets also Cubs and Scouts took part again. After the service refreshments were served and residents stayed to chat. As so many came this year the Car Park required double parking of the cars. The Wreaths which were laid during the Service have been taken to the Memorial Garden in the centre of Hextable for display afterwards.
